Delivery & Costs
- 15 Dec 2016
When we launched Premier Welding's Website our aim was to keep the delivery cost as low as possible, what we have realised is this does not get you the best service.
We have received some feedback from our customers regarding late deliveries, poor tracking and on some occasions missing parcels.
Even though Premier Welding isn't actually carrying out these deliveries it's our duty to provide an excellent service the minute you click onto our website, from delivery right the way through to aftersales.
We have taken this feedback very seriously and subsequently we are changing to a courier that fits with your needs as a customer and our expectations as a business.
As from the 1st of January all website sale deliveries will now be carried out by DPD.
DPD will text or email you the name of your driver as well as your position in the queue.
They offer an excellent service including tracking and a 1 hour delivery window, you will also be able to watch and track the progress of your order on a real time map which will then provide a 15 minute delivery time slot.
You will also get the choice to select alternative delivery dates, opt for delivery to a neighbour, have the parcel left in a safe place or collect from your local DPD Shop.
When you place an order and receive the dispatch email this will mean your delivery will be with you the next working day instead of a 3-5 day delivery.
Due to this change we have had to increase the price of our delivery costs and we understand this can be frustrating however these prices are still very competitive within the industry. We will be reviewing our prices constantly and our aim is to reduce them in the future.
You can find the new delivery prices here - https://www.premierwelding.com/delivery
We still offer Free Delivery on all Orders over £100 (UK Mainland) and the option to Click & Collect at Our Hillington Branch in Glasgow
Thank you for your continued support.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Kind Regards
