Weld Nuts

Weld Nuts deliver secure threaded fastenings on thin sheet without secondary operations. Projection weld lugs concentrate current, forming repeatable nuggets with minimal expulsion and spatter. Our welding nuts range covers round pilot, flange, hex and square styles in mild steel, A2 stainless and galvanised coatings.  

Material properties are controlled to 90–120 HRB for consistent nugget growth, while tapping tolerance class 6H ensures ready bolt engagement. Flange weld nuts distribute load around large clearance holes, preventing pull-through on automotive BIW panels. Pilot types locate into pre-punched holes for perfect concentricity before electrode closure.  

Parts are supplied on stitched carrier strips for automated weld feeders or bulk-packed with anti-rust dry film. Certificates of conformity include chemical analysis and shear-push test data. Spend £100 or more and receive free mainland UK delivery.
