Gas Hose Tails

Hose tails, also known as nipples or splicers, are inserted into the end of the rubber gas hose to allow a nut or coupler to be attached. They perform the vital role of transitioning from flexible hose to a rigid threaded connection. We offer hose tails to suit standard hose internal diameters (bore), typically 6mm (1/4"), 8mm (5/16"), and 10mm (3/8").

Our range includes standard bull-nose tails for connecting to regulators and torches, as well as double-ended splicers for joining two pieces of hose together (reparing a cut line). All tails are machined from high-quality brass to resist corrosion and deformation. They must be secured into the hose using a suitable O-clip or crimp ferrule to ensure the connection can withstand the gas pressure without blowing off.
